Science is a way of knowing, a process for gaining knowledge, and an understanding of the natural world. Life Science covers a variety of topics including microbiology, genetics, evolution, zoology, anatomy & physiology and ecology.These topics are covered with an emphasis on student-centered activities and labs in order to present opportunities for students to practice science skills, such as asking questions, making observations, formulating hypotheses, performing experiments, and developing conclusions.Learning about the natural world and sharpening science skills will allow students to develop informed decisions about current and future events that will affect their life.
